The Colorado Restaurant Association has partnered with Nightlife Security Consultants to provide you with an Active Shooter Awareness Training (ASAT) in Denver from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27. NSC is generously offering us this training at no cost, for which we are so grateful.
Note: There is space for 50 people in this training, and if we have enough interest, we will host additional trainings in the future.
This essential ASAT program has been tailored for hospitality professionals seeking lifesaving knowledge and skills to respond to shooter situations. Led by renowned hospitality-security expert and former San Diego police detective Robert C. Smith, this training combines over 55 years experience in both hospitality and law enforcement, delivering a practical and actionable approach.
Participants will gain expertise in:
- Identifying normal and abnormal behavioral warning signs
- Understanding various types of active shooters
- Developing situational awareness
- Implementing proven strategies to effectively respond
ASAT is a must-have for all hospitality professionals right now, equipping you to be better prepared in the event of a shooter situation so you can help ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in your establishment.
This class counts towards one of two safety-group trainings necessary to participate in the CRA Pinnacol Safety Group program. Registration is free for CRA members.
