This essential ASAT program has been tailored for hospitality professionals seeking lifesaving knowledge and skills to respond to shooter situations. Led by renowned hospitality-security expert and former San Diego police detective Robert C. Smith, this training combines over 55 years experience in both hospitality and law enforcement, delivering a practical and actionable approach.
Participants will gain expertise in:
- Identifying normal and abnormal behavioral warning signs;
- Understanding various types of active shooters;
- Developing situational awareness;
- And, implementing proven strategies to effectively respond.
Note: This class counts towards one of two safety-group trainings necessary to participate in the CRA Pinnacol Safety Group program.
