CRA Chef Alliance Meeting

CRA Chefs and industry partners:
You are invited to attend the second gathering of the Colorado Restaurant Association (CRA) Chef Alliance! In May, we had our first informal gathering to see if there was interest in bringing local chefs together to learn from each other and grow. We packed the lower conference room of the CRA office and heard your collective and resounding YES!
Our August meeting will be a bit more formal: We’ll sit down to discuss what you want from the CRA Chef Alliance and our plans to establish a community and network and create opportunities for us all. We’ll also update you on new developments at the CRA.
There will be light bites from some of Colorado’s favorite brands and non-alcoholic drinks served too.
The CRA Chef Alliance mission is simple: To develop an engaged and robust statewide professional-chef community who are the best-in-class ambassadors for our Colorado hospitality industry. To help obtain, train, and retain future members of Colorado’s hospitality industry. To accomplish this goal, our beginning lanes of focus are Community, Education, and Professional Development, and we believe this is our path to get there:
- Community – Continue our quarterly strategic social gatherings throughout Colorado; host fun culinary throw downs; share news from key suppliers on new products; reconnect lines of communication; share motivational tips to keep our crews learning and engaged.
- Education – Learn more about the Colorado Restaurant Foundation’s programming and discover where chefs can participate, from Colorado ProStart® team coaching, mentoring, and judging to paid-apprentice opportunities.
- Professional Development – Sign up for opportunities to be featured at the Governor’s Mansion and other area dinners, in food segments on various media outlets, and as allied brand ambassadors; and to attend workshops to improve your skills.
