The Angel Relief Fund and COVID-19

All of us at the Colorado Restaurant Foundation want to express our concern for the situation faced by so many in our restaurant and hospitality community. We are committed to working together to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. We are working to support you and your restaurant and hospitality workers with financial assistance and access to a COVID-19 specific hub of support services that provide Federal, state, and community resources for housing, transportation, mental health, medical, child care assistance support and more.

Angel Relief Fund COVID-19 Support Grants

Angel Relief Fund grants are focused on restaurant and food & beverage service hospitality workers who meet one of the following criteria:
(1) diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19).
(2) who have been quarantined under doctor’s care.
(3) unable to receive government assistance.
(4) unemployed, furloughed, or underemployed.

If you qualify for COVID-19 support funds based on the above referenced criteria, please apply here: ARF COVID-19 Support Application.

Independent Restaurant Workers Relief Fund, established by the Kemper family foundations

Independent restaurants are suffering disproportionately in the COVID-19 crisis, and employees of these businesses are most likely to need gap funding. To address this need, the Kemper family foundations established a new restricted fund called the Independent Restaurant Workers Relief Fund. This fund will provide grants solely to restaurant workers from Colorado-based, independently owned and operated restaurants who have been impacted by the COVID-19 virus. We are immensely grateful to the Kemper family foundations for their generosity, and we are thankful to the Anschutz Foundation, a major contributor to the Independent Restaurant Workers Relief Fund.

One-time grants from the Independent Restaurant Workers Relief Fund range up to $1,000 per individual, and are available to restaurant and food & beverage hospitality workers whose last place of employment was a Colorado-based, independently owned and operated restaurant or small restaurant group, and meet at least one of the following criteria:
(1) diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19).
(2) quarantined under doctor’s care.
(3) unable to receive government assistance.
(4) are unemployed, underemployed, or furloughed.

If you qualify for COVID-19 support funds based on the above referenced criteria, please apply here: ARF COVID-19 Support Application.
