Welcome to our first episode of “On the Fly” - a short, monthly news update for CRA members that will give you the lowdown on what you need to know.
Senate Bill 253, expanding the number of sales rooms a manufacturer of alcohol can have, has passed out of the Senate Business, Labor, and Technology Committee and will now be heard in the Senate Appropriations Committee. The CRA still needs your help reaching out to elected officials telling them why this legislation is dangerous to the restaurant industry. Take a look at the GrassRoots Action Center on our website and click on the CRA ALERT to ask your Senator to vote No on SB 253.
Join the CRA at the second annual Colorado Restaurant Show October 9-10 at the Colorado Convention Center. This is the Rocky Mountain region’s biggest annual sales and networking event, enabling suppliers to connect with leading restaurateurs, chefs and restaurant and bar managers. Questions? And the NRA recently reported on restaurant middle-class job growth is nearly 4 times higher than the rest of the economy. That’s news we can use!
