FDA AND LEAFY GREEN GROWERS AGREE: ROMAINE WILL NOW BE LABELED 

Foodborne illness outbreaks seem to be more and more common. With the second E. coli contamination of romaine recently, the FDA has announced a voluntary leafy greens labeling program. Date of harvest and growing region will be included, helping to improve traceability and market recalls in the future. The most recent outbreak likely originated in California's Central Coast region, but it has not been definitively traced. Full Story 


PREMIER VENTURES HOLDS JOB FAIR TO PLACE CURRENT EMPLOYEES

Need some folks for your establishment? Marlowe’s and Lala’s invite local hiring restaurants to two separate in-house job fairs on Monday, December 10th, from 10am-12pm at each location. They aim to place servers, bartenders, support staff, managers, kitchen managers, kitchen associates, bookkeepers, and marketing managers. Space is extremely limited.
