Limited to first 50 registrants.\nThe CRA has partnered with Nightlife Security Consultants to provide an Active Shooter Awareness Training (ASAT) for our members\, taking place on Tuesday\, June 27\, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. NSC is generously offering this training to our members for no charge\, for which we are so grateful. \nThis essential ASAT program has been tailored for hospitality professionals seeking lifesaving knowledge and skills to respond to shooter situations. Led by renowned hospitality-security expert and former San Diego police detective Robert C. Smith\, this training combines over 55 years experience in both hospitality and law enforcement\, delivering a practical and actionable approach. \nParticipants will gain expertise in: \n\nIdentifying normal and abnormal behavioral warning signs;\nUnderstanding various types of active shooters;\nDeveloping situational awareness;\nAnd\, implementing proven strategies to effectively respond.\n\nNote: This class counts towards one of two safety-group trainings necessary to participate in the CRA Pinnacol Safety Group program.
