Why ServSafe®?
Colorado’s Retail Food Establishment Regulations requires retail food establishments to have at least one employee that has supervisory and management responsibility and the authority to direct and control food preparation and service to be a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) who has shown proficiency of required information through passing a test that is part of an accredited program.
Who Should Be ServSafe® Certified?
Owners, operators, chefs, managers, kitchen managers, and supervisors.
More than 5 million foodservice professionals across the country have been certified through the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification exam, which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP).
What to Expect
Through this one-day immersion training, students will learn basic food safety concepts, including foodborne illness, how to prevent it, and how to train fellow employees in food sanitation.
