Senate Bill 24-020, sponsored by Sens. Dylan Roberts and Nick Hinrichsen and Reps. William Lindstedt and Rose Pugliese, which permanently legalizes the sale of alcohol for takeout and delivery from restaurants, was signed into law by Governor Jared Polis this afternoon at Cactus Flower Restaurant in Pueblo.

This bill signing established a permanent policy for alcohol to-go that creates certainty for Colorado hospitality businesses, raises additional revenue for state and local governments, and allows the public to continue enjoying this popular approach to alcohol-beverage sales.
